What will the weather in Gran Canaria be like today?
The weather in Gran Canaria is the best in the world. The weather is very mild year round. Back in the States, where I'm from, when it's cold it's really cold. When it's hot, it's really hot. Not in Gran Canaria. The geographical features of the island itself give it the conditions for variety in climate. Let me explain. The southern part of the island is dry and warm through out the year. The northern part is cooler and rocky. The interior is green and flourishing. During winter, the center part of the island, sometimes receives snow. As a result, you have a mixture of climates in a small area or in a "Miniature Continent". Later, get in the car and drive an hour to Maspalomas and get a tan while you relax on the beach. Our recommendation when you come for vacation is to bring a sweater or a light jacket. When you head towards the center of Gran Canaria during summer, autumn, or spring you may or may not need it. If it's during the winter you will need it. Believe me!
